Hi. I’m a writer, TV host and producer. Most of my stories appear in Bloomberg Businessweek magazine, and I also host (and write) the tech-travel show Hello World for Bloomberg. In the past, I’ve written for The New York Times, The Economist and The Register.

To the extent that it matters to anyone, I’m a NYT best-selling book author, and my stories and TV episodes have won numerous awards. I’m currently producing a drama TV series (about Elon Musk) and a documentary film (about space) for HBO.

Born in South Africa and raised (mostly) in Texas, I now live in California with an absolute ten of a wife and two pretty decent boys.
